Accommodation
Dream sweet dreams on one of our comfortable Highgrove and Sealy mattresses. So comfy in fact, that some of our guests have ordered one for themselves! All of our beds have oversized duvets, with King Size on our Double Beds and Double Duvets on our Single Beds. All our rooms are pleasantly decorated and have their own modern en-suites with showers. We are a typical Victorian Guest House externally but with a contemporary touch to the interiors. Our bedrooms are situated across the first and second floors of the building.
The rooms are centrally heated with individual radiator thermostatic controls so you can adjust the heat to suit your own needs. In addition, each bedroom has its own flat screen digital TV, hairdryer and fan. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with a selection of quality biscuits, as well as bottles of water. Every afternoon we deliver fresh milk to your ‘doorstep’.
All our high quality bed linen and towels are supplied to us by a local laundry company, who have excellent environmental policies in place. The, “Love the Lakes”, campaign has highlighted the increased levels of phosphates in the lakes which are causing harmful algae to develop. One of the main causes is washing powder and fabric softeners. You will also find local “Pure Lakes” toiletries for you to use during your stay in the bathrooms, this can also be purchased to take home with you.

Room 1 is a Double En-Suite room located on the first floor at the back of the building.
Room 2
Room 2 is our Twin En-Suite room located on the first floor at the front of the building.
Room 3
Room 3 is our Single En-Suite room located on the first floor at the front of the building.
Room 4
Room 4 is a Double En-Suite room located on the second floor at the back of the building.
Room 5
Room 5 is a Double En-Suite room located on the second floor at the front of the building.
Room 6
Room 6 is a Double En-Suite room located on the second floor at the front of the building.

Advice and Help
As keen walkers, cyclists and swimmers we can offer advice and help on routes and challenges. We can share some of our favourites with you and also provide you with any items you may have forgotten. We are also more than happy to fill flasks for you at Breakfast should you want to take a brew on your trip.
Bag Drop & Storage
We know our check in times are not always convenient and are happy to hold your bags prior to check in should you arrive early, just let us know prior to your arrival. Equally we are happy to store your bags on the day of departure should you wish to use the last few hours to enjoy Keswick.
Guest Lounge
The lounge is available to all our guests and provides a comfortable area to gather after a hard day on the fells or just to mingle with other guests.
Please feel free to peruse the books and literature but we would ask you to leave these in the lounge as they are our personal collection. There are also a small selection of board games and cards for your enjoyment in the central chest.
Wet Clothing & Footwear
If you have wet items, we would be happy to help dry these for you. Please let us know and we’ll do our best to dry them overnight ready for your next day out.
